Dream team with Chacomo!

With my horse Chacomo I caused a stir in 1999 when the 11-year-old Holstein horse took everything in a stride and hurried from success to success:

  • German Vice Champion
  • Winner of the Grand Prix Special, CHIO at Aachen
  • Winner of the Free Style Competition, CHIO at Aachen
  • Winner of "Großer Preis" CHIO at Aachen
  • European Champion with the team
Olympic team gold in Sydney 2000

In 1999 Chacomo was the most successful horse with the best placements in dressage sport. His best features were his faultless basic paces and extensions. Already on his first competitions in advanced dressage, at the age of eight, he became the secret favourite on the CHIO.

Even as early as that the former federal coach and "Master Rider" Johann Hinnemann predicted a great future for Chacomo. "Chacomo will be a good choice for Sydney".

And then, during the 2000 CHIO at Aachen, the time had come: Chacomo became a member of the German Olympic team which proudly returned with the gold medal from the Olympic competitions in Australia.

To carry our success into the future, there are now two approved covering stallions on Hof Rossheide, who in their time, shall continue the performance and success of Chacomo:

  • "Calambo", *1992, top-stallion
  • "Cosma", *1995, stud by Calambo
  • "Chiemsee", *1993, gelding by Caruso out of Ramiro´s Son mother
  • "Wellington", *1995, gelding by Wanderer out of Garibaldi II mother

Pina Colada *2000, mare by Pommery out of Eisenherz Mutter
